Blogging Strategy

Just read an excellent blog by R Humphrey about the necessity for blogging and getting your information out on the web. Although the blog is primarily addressing authors wanting to publish their works on kindle, etc., it is a must read and one all marketers can benefit from.  As he states ~ “It’s important to set up a blog if you are looking for a large number of sales.  Many authors and network marketers are using the blog forum to bring the new business and drive traffic to their website.  By using our own experiences in our blogs we can connect with our readers and not only will they come back to read our “advice” blogs but they will also research our site and learn what we are all about and have to offer; thus increasing our credibility and our sales.”

I must admit that when I started thinking about publishing my own website and re-opening my business on the web I had no idea what blogging was or what a “blog” meant.  Even though I have been an internet junkie since the late 90′s and have had several positions with mlm companies, direct sales, and internet social media; I realized that I was “internet ignorant” and I needed to learn the new trends and methods.  Back in my day it was imperative to have an affiliate website, and spam our links on every social media forum we participated in.  My how times have changed ~ and for the better!

Also, since I started this quest for knowledge and reading everything I can about blogging and internet businesses; I have met some wonderful new friends who I visit often through their blogs, and even text or call.  I am very blessed to have found a such great group of friends that I can rely on for support and information.  No matter what type of business you have or your purpose for blogging ~ I must admit I find it fascinating and a necessity!

Thanks again Joanna for the super read and beneficial information! If you want to read her blog here is the link to her post (click here).
